8:30am Flax cookies (oatmeal, ground flax seed, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt-free seasoning)
12:30pm Attempt at healthy sweet cinnamon cookies, but they weren’t sweet enough (oatmeal, ground flax seed, cinnamon, stevia)
4:30pm broccoli and cauliflower medley with hot sauce
6:30pm Bean smoothie that my mom made for me for the ride home (soymilk, mixture of beans: green, red, black, peanuts) about 16 oz. Estimate around 300-400 calories.
8:30pm 1 large Japanese sweet potato (350), 1 taro, steamed (100)
Snacks: 1 small piece of black sesame dessert (~100), 1 warhead candy(50)
Total: 1600~1800 calories
I am hoping that my overestimates are enough to cover what I *think* I ate today since I didn’t really have the chance to be all OCD and weigh out my food while my parents were there. lol. But overall it’s NOT a binge. In the car, I had a smoothie (which was really good) and came home and had a little piece of black sesame roll. Then for dinner, I ate one large sweet potato and one taro root, and afterwards had a piece of candy. No biggie. I probably could have chosen a smaller sized sweet potato and taro, but I’m not going to beat myself up about it.
I’m actually feeling like this weekend will go pretty well. I feel like I have everything under control :D Tomorrow I plan to go out dog walking with my sister for several hours, and go shopping for another couple hours. Then probably take a shower and wait for the wedding reception to start and have dinner there. I’m going to have an incentive to keep myself from feeling bloated all day tomorrow since I’ll be dressing up and everything, plus I’ll be seeing my (fat-criticizing) relatives for the first time in months.. so yes. I think tomorrow will be a good motivating day.
Take it one day at a time. Make sure that you focus on TODAY. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but today. Focus on conquering the PRESENT so that the goal stays in the present!
